Consumer data

Consumer data describes people as households rather than employees: age range, estimated income and net worth, whether they own their home, marital status and whether children live there, plus location and contact details.

It is the data a home-services company, an insurance agent, a financial adviser or a local retailer needs, because their customer is a household, not a job title. A B2B database cannot answer "homeowners aged 45 to 64 with household income over $100,000 in these five ZIP codes"; consumer data can.

Some attributes are modelled rather than recorded. Buzzlist marks them: a "likely homeowner" flag means the model is confident, not that a deed was checked. Good practice is to treat modelled attributes as targeting, not as facts to state to the person.

Buzzlist carries household details for people at home, searchable with the same account and filters used for business search, and with BuzzAI on paid plans. Consumer searches are available on every plan.

Common questions

Can I combine business and consumer filters?

You switch between Business and Consumer modes; each mode uses the fields that make sense for it. A consumer search still includes location and contact-availability filters.
