Two kinds of tool share one name. IP-based tools match a visitor's network address to a company database and tell you a company came by. Person-level tools resolve the visit to a named person you can email. Both are useful. Only one gives you someone to write to.

Every line about another company was read from that company's own website in September 2026. Prices change. Check their pages before you decide.
And then the email
Once you know who visited, the next job is the email. That is where Buzzlist starts: it writes four emails per person from their company website and, on paid plans, finds more people like them.
Questions people ask
What is the difference between person-level and IP-based visitor identification?
IP-based tools match the visitor's network address to a company. Person-level tools resolve the visit to a named individual with contact details. The first tells you a company came by. The second tells you who.
Does IP-based identification work for people at home?
Poorly. A home or mobile connection resolves to an internet provider, not an employer, so the visit is lost or misattributed. Leadfeeder says it can identify companies "even if their employees work from home" by tracking dynamic IP addresses; person-level tools do not depend on the network at all.
Is person-level identification legal?
Each vendor publishes its own compliance terms. Visitor InSites publishes its policies on its site, and you are responsible for how you use any list. Buzzlist is not a consumer reporting service and neither of these tools should be used for credit, insurance, employment or housing decisions.
